Mini PC (stick) as Server for a Smart Car

Seems like getting a PC is getting super cheap lately. I found this MiniPC Stick with Atom and 2GB of Ram for ~35 bucks: which is pretty much the same price as a Raspberry Pi 3.

This if set up correctly could give me more computing power than a Raspberry Pi with less flexibility (I’ll have to use Arduino to connect the parking sensors for example) in a much smaller space, since my plans are to get Computer Vision for line detection and steering wheel control, the more CPU I can get the better.

The only problem I found was heating issues with those mini PC sticks and such problems slow down the system so I’ll probably setup my own PC tower with an Intel i3 and 8GB of Ram.
